More Opportunities for NEET Aspirants! 600 more MBA seats

Recent news has created excitement among NEET aspirants as government announces 6 new medical colleges in the country. This has created 600 opportunities for NEET aspirants which means 600 more seats will be available for students while taking admissions to medical colleges. The NEET exam is one of the most famous and important exams in the country which usually sees lakhs of applicants every year.

Knowing that extra 600 seats will be filled, the medical seat count will cross 1 lakh. This update was published on the National Medical Commission website and it is ongoing. 

The National Medical Commission recently issued the Letter of Permission to the new 6 medical colleges. Assam will have 2 colleges and four colleges will be established in Andhra Pradesh. The Government of India has permitted Kokrajhar and Naugawan colleges in Assam and they will be having a capacity of 100 seats.

In Andhra Pradesh- Vizianagaram, Nandyal, Rajamahendravaram, and Machilipatnam are granted permission from the government. New medical colleges will be added to the NMC website in the coming days as expected. Moreover, MBBS college in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, and in Assam, Nalbari Medical College will soon be functional and will receive their letter of permission publicly before the NEET UG 2023 exam.

About NEET exam

The NEET exam is an entrance examination for medical colleges in the states. The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) is the test that all aspirants have to take if they want to study MBBS or BDS at any of the medical universities in India. The exam is open to all students who wish to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies in any of the medical colleges established by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The exam facilitates the aspirants to get admission to the top medical colleges/ universities providing courses such as MBBS, AYUSH, BDS, and other nursing fields. Eligible candidates can visit the official website- neet.nta.nic.in to fill out the application form. 

NEET UG 2023 will be conducted on May 7, 2023, by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA to begin the NEET 2023 exam registration soon, candidates would be able to fill out the exam form provided by NTA on their official website- nta.neet.nic.in. Eligible candidates can visit the official website- neet.nta.nic.in to fill out the application form when available. Candidates who are class 12 pass or will appear in the Class 12 board exam are eligible for the NEET exam 2023. 

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate is held in an offline mode with a total of 200 MCQs but only 180 questions are supposed to be attempted. Candidates will be rewarded 4 marks for a right answer and 1 mark is reduced as a negative marking for an incorrect answer. THE NEET UG exam is challenging and requires intensive preparations by the aspirants.
