SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023: Check Vacancy and Eligibility Criteria Details

State Bank of India (SBI) has released the vacancy for the clerk position for both Junior associates and Junior clerk associates. More than 9000 vacancies are released this year. Aspiring candidates can fill out the online application form, and the exam will be conducted at the beginning of April month. 

This is one of the good opportunities for job seekers who want to grab their job in SBI. Interested candidates should first check the eligibility criteria so that they can know whether they are eligible for the exam or not. The candidates who are not eligible for the exam are not considered for the position and recruitment process. 

The eligibility criteria will be decided by many factors such as age, nationality, and educational qualification. The candidate should meet all these criteria; only then will they be eligible for the examination. 

Nationality

The candidate should follow the citizenship of the following nationalities. Citizens of India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibetan refugees migrated from Pakistan, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to settle permanently in India. Candidates belonging to these nations can apply for the SBI clerk exam.  

Educational Qualification

  • Candidate should produce a 10th mark sheet, and he/ she should have studied the local language as a subject. If the candidate has not studied the local language as a subject, then they should undergo the language test. 

  • Candidates should read, write, and speak English.

  • Candidates having the final semester exams in 2023 can also apply for the exam. But during the document verification for joining, they should produce the proof of graduation

Age Criteria for SBI Clerk Exam 2023

The candidate's minimum age should be 18 years, and the maximum age should be 28 years.

The selection process consists of 3 stages.

3. Interview Section

A panel of experts will conduct the interview once the candidate clears the prelims and the mains exam. They will test the candidate's nature of the local language. Once the candidate clears the interview round, they will be selected as the clerk of SBI.

  • Open a web browser and visit the official website of SBI.

  • Click on the online application form 2023 link.

  • Register with a valid email id. 

  • Fill in the basic details.

  • Upload the photograph and signature. 

  • Click on next.

  • Pay the application fee. 

  • For general candidates, the application fee is Rs. 600, and for others, it is Rs. 100.

  • Ensure that the entered details are correct because once you have filled it out, you cannot return back.
