CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) is an English exam which is taken as consideration in Canada for various purposes. One thing to note that the exam is just for the country Canada.

CELPIP consists of the two variations into the exam including the General and the General LS. The exam is computer-based and is accepted for purposes like PR, Citizenship, Canada Experience Class, Start-up Visa, Alberta Human Services and much more. Types of CELPIP Exams

There are 2 types of CELPIP exams as

1. CELPIP General

2. CELPIP General LS

CELPIP General

The aim of the CELPIP general Test is to test the functional Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening exam. The exam would carry the Canadian Flavour of the spellings and the accent since the exam is specifically for Canada.

Since the exam is a prestigious Canadian examination, it is accepted by the Real Estate Council of British Columbia and the Immigration Consultants of the country.

CELPIP General LS

The CELPIP General LS has a higher level than the CELPIP General. The motive of the examination is to check the Speaking and listening proficiency in English.

If you go for the CELPIP LS examination, then you would be going for the English specialization.
