I am an engineering student and I want a govt. job right after I pass out from my college. I am aiming for the SSC-CGL exam. Now could you please help me that what is the right time to join the SSC-CGL coaching along with my ongoing degree? I am planning to join the KD campus Jaipur. Am I taking the right decision?

The right time to join the SSC coaching would be the 2nd year of your Engineering.

If you are doing a degree course for the four years then I would like to advise you that you should go for the preparation from the 2nd year.

This is because, you need at least 1 year to settle down for the college. moreover, you would also be required to build up time to prepare for the SSC since it is a highly competitive exam.

So, After the 1st year, you may join the coaching in the 2nd year.

You may prepare for the coaching for the entire 2nd year and register for the SSC exam.

Keep on proceeding to the next stages until you drop yourself back.

Now, you need 6 months for Tier 1, 6 for tier 2 and then tier 3 and 4 would be a cakewalk.

SSC exam goes for an entire 1.5 years. So later, you would have a lot of time to give exams.

After the 6 months of the coaching you would have 2 years left to prepare for the rest of the exam.

Build your skills for the next 2 years and then Wham! you are ready for the show after 4 years of B.Tech.
