Eligibility Criteria for UPSC IES ISS Recruitment

Educational Qualification

  • For the IES (Indian Economic Service), candidates need a postgraduate degree in one of these subjects: Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, or Econometrics.

  • For the ISS (Indian Statistical Service), candidates can either have a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics as one of their subjects OR a Master's degree in one of these subjects: Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics.

Age Limit
