Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL 2023 Exam

The following provides the details regarding the eligibility criteria for SSC CHSL 2023 exam,

Nationality

The candidate must be either:

  • a citizen of India, or

  • a subject of Nepal, or

  • a subject of Bhutan, or

  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

Educational Qualification

The following are the required educational qualifications.

  • The basic requirement is a pass certificate in class 12th from a recognized board or university.

  • For the post of DEO in the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) office, applicants must have studied science and mathematics as the main subjects in Class 12th.
