SSC CGL 2023 Link Released: Check the Dates, Vacancy, and More

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened the SSC CGL 2023 exam registration application window. Therefore, interested and eligible candidates can apply for the SSC CGL 2023 exam by visiting the official website of SSC.

Also, candidates should note that the application process started on April 3, 2023. And the last date to apply for the post is May 3, 2023. The selection process contains 2 stages: Tier 1 and Tier 3.

Steps to Apply for the SSC CGL 2023 Exam

The following are the steps for the SSC CGL 2023 exam registration

  • Open a web browser and visit the official website of SSC.

  • In the login section, click on Register Now. 

  • Register with the required details. 

  • After registering, log in with the registration number and password. 

  • Click on the Apply link under the notifications tab.

  • Fill up the required details. 

  • Upload the required documents, such as photographs and signatures. 

  • Submit the application form.

It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. This component may have questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal

General Awareness

Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates’ general awareness of the environment around them and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observations and

experience in their scientific aspect, as any educated person may expect. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries, especially about History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Policy & Scientific Research.

 

The questions will be designed to test the ability to appropriately use numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be the computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and relationships between numbers, Percentages. Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, Time and distance, Time & Work, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra & Elementary surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle and its various kinds of centers, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more processes, Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base, Trigonometric ratio, Degree and Radian Measures, Standard Identities, Complementary angles, Heights and Distances, Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar diagram & Pie chart

English Comprehension

The candidate's ability to understand correct English, basic comprehension and writing ability, etc., would be tested.

SSC CGL 2023: Educational Qualification

1. Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer 

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute

2. Junior Statistical Officer

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level Or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

3. Statistical Investigator Grade-II

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics in all three years or all 6 semesters of the graduation course.

4. Research Assistant at National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)

Graduation

5. All other Posts

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
