Exam Date announced for CMAT, GPAT 2023: Read Below to know more!

Dates for the CMAT and GPAT exams in 2023 have been released on the National Testing Agency's website. The whole exam schedule is available for review and downloads below.

The schedule for the CMAT and GPAT 2023 exams was just released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test will be held on May 22, 2023, while the Common Management Admission Test will be held on May 4, 2023, according to the official announcement posted on the NTA's official website, nta.ac.in.

SHIFT TIME FOR CMAT 2023 AND GPAT 2023

The CMAT exam will be given twice, from 9 am to noon on the first shift and from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm on the second. A similar two-shift format will be used for the GPAT exam, with the first shift lasting from 9 am to 12 pm and the second from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

Each question will receive 4 marks following the scoring system. No marks to be given on questions left unanswered.

The NTA is now anticipated to release the CMAT 2023 admissions card. By entering their application number, date of birth, and password on the official website, cmat.nta.nic.in, candidates who have enrolled can download their CMAT hall tickets. The CMAT hall pass must be brought by applicants to the testing location. Students should bring a passport-size photo to paste on the attendance sheet together with their admit card and one of the approved photo IDs, such as a PAN card, an Aadhaar card, or a passport, for verification purposes. If applicable, a PwD certificate should be carried.

Exam details for CMAT 2023 and GPAT 2023

The CMAT 2023 exam will have 100 questions and a possible score of 400. Negative marking will be used for erroneous responses on the question paper, which will only be available in English. Admission to management studies in AICTE-affiliated/participating universities requires passing the CMAT exam.

CMAT

In India, there were numerous management program entrance tests by 2011. These included state-specific exams, tests administered by management associations of MBA institutes, tests administered by private colleges, and tests such as the CAT, JMET, XAT, Gitam SAT, NMAT, SNAP, and MAT. To lessen the strain (physical, mental, and financial) of students taking several exams, AICTE established CMAT.

Up until 2015, the CMAT was offered twice annually, however last year the AICTE opted to only offer the test once per year on the third Sunday in January.

Some of the top business schools have decided not to participate in the CMAT; the excuse offered was the AICTE's delayed announcement. However, a good percentage of colleges still accept their score.

GPAT

To assess applicants for admission of Pharmacy graduates into Masters (M. Pharm) programs, National Testing Agency conducts the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test annually throughout India in computer-based test mode. It was conducted by the All-India Council for Technical Education in New Delhi up till 2018. The outcomes are also used to establish a student's eligibility for scholarships and other forms of financial aid.

Under NTA, the course material and exam format remain unchanged. The exam fees that are currently being levied have not increased. This syllabus, which covers all of the disciplines covered in every year of the Bpharm degree, is around 70 pages long.
