For the positions of Air Worthiness Officer, Air Safety Officer, Livestock Officer, Junior Scientific Officer, Public Prosecutor, Junior Translation Officer, Assistant Engineer, Assistant Survey Officer, Principal Officer, and Senior Lecturer, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is seeking qualified candidates to fill 261 openings. The selected candidates will get a monthly compensation scale in the pay matrix defined by the 7th CPC plus NPA, ranging from Level 06 to Level 14. Candidates should hold an aeronautical engineering bachelor's degree. 


3. Regarding the position of Livestock Officer:

 

Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in animal husbandry and veterinary science.

 

4. Regarding the position of the public prosecutor:

 

Candidates must hold a law bachelor's degree.

 

5. To the position of Junior Translation Officer:

 

either a master's degree in Hindi with English as a required subject from an accredited university, or a master's degree in English with Hindi as a required subject.

 

6. Regarding the position of assistant engineer:

 

A Bachelor of Engineering or Engineering Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Drilling from a reputable university or institute is required of the candidate.

 

7. Regarding the position of assistant survey officer:

 

Associate Engineers Institution Member or Bachelor of Engineering degree.


8. For the Principal Officer position


Marine Engineer Officer Class-I Certificate of Competency.

 

9. Regarding the position of senior lecturer

 

The ideal candidate will hold an M.D. (Medicine) or M.D. (General Medicine) from a reputable university or institution, or something comparable.

 

Experience needed for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Experience is required for the positions listed below.

 

1. Regarding the position of airworthiness officer:

 

The candidates should have three years of experience performing maintenance on an operational aircraft in a facility that has been authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

 

2. Regarding the position of livestock officer:

 

The candidates should have three years of experience working for the Central Government, State Governments, or Union Territory Administration in the fields of cattle, livestock development, animal health, poultry meat, and meat products.

 

3. For the post of Junior Scientific Officer:

 

The candidates should have three years of experience doing research and performing analytical work in the field of ballistics in any central or state organization, accredited college, or university forensic science lab.

 

4. Regarding the position of Public Prosecutor:

 

The candidates should have seven years of experience either working in the State Judicial Service, the Legal Department of State or Central Government, or as an advocate in criminal cases.

 

5. About the position of Assistant Survey Officer:

 

The candidates should have two years of experience working for registered engineering or surveying establishments, mines, and dams, using total stations, GPS, theodolites, traversing, leveling, and contouring software.

 

Citizenship for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

 

According to the official UPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates must either be citizens of India, a Bhutanese subject, a Nepalese subject, or a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle there. They may also be people of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African nations such as Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and E.
