Computer software courses are generally available through certificate, associate's and bachelor's degree programs in Web design, graphic design and computer applications. These programs focus on operating basic software such as Microsoft Office and also include more intermediate and advanced topics such as using HyperText Markup Language (HTML), graphics design software such as Adobe InDesign and Adobe's photo-editing application Photoshop. The students can opt a course of their choice on the basis of their interests and qualifications. These courses help to develop technical skills and also provide relevant training to the individuals who plan to make career in this field.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

ELIGIBILITY FOR UNDER-GRADUATE COURSES:

Complete 10+2 in science from a recognised board.
Minimum marks attained in the qualifying exam must be 50%

ELIGIBILITY FOR POST-GRADUATE COURSES:

Complete graduation in the relevant courses from a recognised university
Minimum marks attained in the qualifying exam must be 60%

VARIOUS COURSES

C++ Programming Course	In this course , the students understand the use and philosophy of the C++ programming language and its wide applicability, processes. The students must have access to a C++ compiler to learn this course.
Software Engineering Course	Software design patterns and architecture, development processes and modules are covered in this course. This course is an overview of software verification and testing practices as well as provides knowledge of various software engineering methods and tools.
Web Development Course	This course helps the students understand Web development terms, history, standards, layout, organization, and distribution methods. This course also helps the students to learn how to use X/HTML and CSS coding to make simple pages with an authoring program.
Java Programming Course	This course introduces students to the fundamentals of Java software and the Java programming language. This course is the basic foundation of coding, designing, and debugging programs with Java.
Object Oriented Analysis and Design Course	In this course, students learn how object-oriented design principles can be applied when developing software. They also gain experience with applying computer assisted engineering (CASE) technology and using the unified modeling language (UML) at different points in the software development process.

SYLLABUS :
The BITs MCA entrance exam paper consists of 4 sections . BITs MCA test paper will be Objective type question with multiple choice. It will be computer based or online.
Questions will be asked from Mathematics, Analytical ability, and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and English. The duration of the exam will be for 2 hours. There will be 120 questions in total and the test will be for 480 marks.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU) releases the syllabus of the BVP B-CAT 2020.
The syllabus for the exam will contain topics from Mathematics of Class X and XII level. The paper would also contain questions from logical reasoning and basics of fundamentals of information technology.

NIMCET Syllabus 2020

The syllabus for NIMCET 2020 includes mathematics, analytical ability and logical reasoning and General English .

It covers the following topics for Mathematics-

Set Theory
Probability and Statistics
Algebra
Coordinate Geometry
Calculus
Vectors
Trigonometry

Topics covered for analytical and logical reasoning are:

The questions in this section will cover logical situation and questions based on the facts given in the passage.

This section includes 10 questions on Computer Basics - Parts of a computer, Central Processing Unit (CPU), structure of instructions in CPU, input/output devices, computer memory, and back-up devices.

It also contains questions on Data Representation: Representation of integers, characters, and fractions, binary and hexadecimal representations, binary arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, simple arithmetic and two’s complement arithmetic, floating point representation of numbers, Boolean algebra, truth tables, Venn diagrams.

For General English

Questions in this section will be designed to test the candidates’ understanding of the English language. There will be questions on the following topics: Vocabulary, Comprehension, Basic English Grammar ,synonyms and antonyms, meaning of words and phrases, technical writing.
