CLAT: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam for admissions to candidates in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law courses offered at 22 NLUs and other colleges/ universities accepting exam scores.

IPM: Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Indore. The national level test is a gateway for admission to the five- year Integrated Program in Management offered at IIM Indore.

CLAT ELIGIBILITY


CLAT Eligibility for five-year Integrated courses:

  • Candidates who have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination for national or state board of education.
  • They should have obtained minimum 45% marks if belonging to General/ Other Backward Class (OBC) / Specially-abled categories and 40% marks if belonging to Scheduled Class (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories. 
  • There is no age limit to apply CLAT 2020 as the Bar Council of India (BCI) as removed the upper or lower age limit criteria for admissions to law courses.

IPM 2020 ELIGIBILITY

General and NC-OBC Category

  • The candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% in class 10th/SSC and class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination in case of General and NC-OBC category candidates.
  • The candidate should be of maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2020.

SC, ST and PwD Category

  • The candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% in class 10th/SSC and class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination in case of SC, ST category candidates.
  • The candidate should be of maximum 22 years of age as on July 31, 2020.

Important points on Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of June 30, 2020, can also apply, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria
  • If selected, such candidates will be offered admission to the programme provisionally.
  • At the time of registration for the programme, such candidate must have to produce X and XII standard mark sheet (securing minimum marks i.e. 60% for General and NC-OBC or 55% for SC, ST, and PwD) along with school-leaving certificate/migration certificate, failing which the candidate’s provisional admission offer will stand cancelled.
  • The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulation.
  • In case the candidates are awarded grades or grade points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the Board/ Competent Authority explaining the method of conversion from where they have obtained the certificate.
  • Applicants pursuing their X and/or XII standard from international schools affiliated to foreign board’s like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply.
