When comparing Abhimanu IAS and others, it's important to consider a few factors:
The trick to score high marks in UPSC more than anything else it is the guidance that matters i.e. you must have someone to tell you what is the best way to study, what to study and more importantly what not to study, common mistakes people do and how you can avoid them etc. Basically, what you need is a mentor and not a teacher.
So, in Abhimanu IAS we provide a class where student strength is like a classroom and not like a seminar and teachers are easily approachable and accessible. Abhimanu IAS is situated at Hoshiarpur Chandigarh Road, near Mini Secteriat, Hoshiarpur.
Learning only occurs if the student plays an active role in the process. For learning to take place it must be meaningful to each individual, with students critically reflecting on information presented; they have to be able to 'experience' the information and the way to facilitate this is to draw on past experiences.
• IAS General Studies Pre cum Mains ( Weekend)(Indian Administrative Services (IAS)): Indian Administrative Services (IAS) exam is a national level competitive examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) of India for recruitment to fill the posts of various civil services of the Indian Government. IAS is considered to be the hardest to crack exam in India with a very low rate of success.
• IAS General Studies Pre cum Mains (Indian Administrative Services (IAS))
To attempt an IAS exam, the candidate must be a citizen of India and of age 21 years (minimum to 32 years (maximum).
The candidate must possess a degree of a recognized University of India. Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the qualifying examination and are awaiting results can also appear for the IAS Preliminary Examination. All those candidates who qualify for the Civil Services Main Examination must be able to present the proof of having passed the said examination along with their application for the IAS Main Examination.
The number of attempts for the exam is restricted to 6 for the general category candidates. However, there are some relaxations in the age limits and number of attempts for other category candidates.
